FME LAZY SATURDAY

On July 26 Fast Movement Entertainment hosted their Lazy Saturday @Piatto Ushaka. Local brands such as Just Chill, SMB n IKL just to mention a few had small Pop Up Stalls showcasing and selling their latest collections. Unfortunately there were some complications with the manager @Piatto so we had to change the venue and ended up @Happy Hippo, a very chilled and viby roof top bar also by Ushaka. Seeing other young people going out there and making things happen for themselves is really inspiring. But what's unfortunate is that there isn't many young women doing such things especially around Durban, its just always a group of young guys which isn't a bad thing but seeing other young women doing it for themselves would be really cool as well.

 



 

 

We were also invited to take pictures as the 94mag team and we also went to conduct some interviews with the brand managers who were showcasing at the event. But we all got caught up with socialising and didn't get any interviews done. LOL*hides*

AFREECAN CONCEPTS PHOTOSHOOT

 

A few weeks ago a friend of mine told me she's invited to a fashion show by the beach. I thought that was really cool,  since I've never been to a fashion show by the beach so I tagged along. When we got there it looked nothing like a fashion show,LOL there was no set up whatsoever. Only to find out it was actually a photo shoot, I was bummed at first because I was really looking forward to it. but it was actually very nice, had lots of fun and laughter in between. Met some pretty interesting talented people. I'm looking forward to more photo shoots and other projects with these guys in the future, it was fun!!

All white errthing clean as a nurse, well I’m almost in all white right? Lol I just wanted to use KO’s line from that song with Ltido, HHP and Liquideep... But this isn't about hip hop, hip hop is actually the last thing I had in mind when I was putting this outfit together. I wore this to church yesterday, it was such an amazing service. Nothing beats being under The Lord’s Presence, and no turn up song will ever beat a Gospel song because there’s just something powerful about the name of JESUS, yes I’m a strong believer and I’m not even ashamed. The Lord is too good, I can’t afford to keep it to myself!!!

I love the brooch I have on here, and they seem to be trending lately so go get one before it’s too late sister. I got mine from my cousin because I’m special like that J. It is all about the detail!! Thanks cuz J

 

 



 

 





 



SMALL TOWN GIRL WITH BIG CITY DREAMS



Ayikho into egqitha ikhaya lam, there's definitely no place like home. I was home in Eastern Cape this past week, I really am just a small town girl with all these big city dreams I've had for as long as I can remember. Growing up I used to watch a lot of Miss SOUTH AFRICAN shows and I liked browsing through magazines, I remember always telling my mother that nam one day ndizoba kwiMagazines ("I too will be on magazines one day") I guess that's where my love for fashion, taking pictures and writing came from which is also the inspiration behind starting this lil blog of mine. PS...I still see myself as a cover of some fashion magazine or even owning my own magazine one day and of course have my own Clothing label which I will pursue next year so just watch this space. Speaking about magazines though, there's an upcoming online magazine which I will be part of, its gonna have some really cool stuff, I'm so excited I cant wait for our first issue..:)) Here's the link>>> www.94mag.com

STRIKE A POSE PULL A FACE...#BOSSLADY

I loved the inspiration behind these pictures, Genie asked me to bring two different outfits for the shoot I had with him so when I picked this outfit I was thinking "boss lady vibes".. Hahaha I could just imagine myself as the CEO of WAVCREATIONZ and walking into my office, lol I know I know...Im a big dreamer, but I believe one day all my dreams will come true. Everyday when I wake up in the morning I remind myself of all these dreams I have and how I wont achieve any of them if I dont go out there and make things happen. I guess thats how it all starts, by making things happen, the sky is definitely not the limit. When I was at the Innovation Summit a very wise guy by the name of Siya Xuza said "dont tell me the sky is the limit when there's footprints on the moon." I think I will forever carry this qoute with me, and so should u my fellow fashionista!

Yet another amazing photo shoot with my mate Genie, its been almost a year since my last shoot with him. But this time it was different because we had it at an actual studio, my 1st studio photoshoot, lol I aint even a model but Im ouchea having studio photoshoots. Joys of having a "great" fashion sense I guess, I qoute great because its what most people say about my style... Genie had to update his fashion photography portfolio and he asked me to help him out and I did just that. I had so much fun, could really do it again.

Shirt from Jay jays, Woolies hand bag from my aunt's closet. I'm soo in love with this bag, the texture is beautiful. The size and shape are amazing, everything fits perfectly into the bag its so nice and easy to carry. The jeans and boots are from MRP! These boots are so comfortable, they are just perfect for sunny days, since they have openings on the sides. Thanks must go to my dear friend Lungie for getting me these boots. I just had to own them, thanks a lot friend:))

LOVE FACES my NIGG!! {Late post II}

 

Love is in the air and all over my leggings. I fell so in love with these leggings when I first saw them, I don't know if it was the love faces that attracted my eyes or what?! All I know is that it was more like love at first sight. Most people wouldn't wear these because they are a lil bit too much, I guess that's what caught my attention. They're just so different from your typical leggings and not everyone can rock them. You have to be more of a risk taker to be able to pull these off.

It's been such a long time since my last post, I've been so busy with school lately its depressing. With exams starting next week there really isn't any time for games.. but a few minutes of blogging never killed nobody! It was really a Blue Monday this day, besides the fact that I was wearing a blue dress I had thee longest day ever and then it started raining on my way back home but I still managed to strike a pose because such outfits can not afford to miss a lil caption.
