THE GIFT OF LIFE IS ALL YOURS

ME, ME AND ME...

Summer is almost here ladies..well its already in Durban, so keep it short, turn heads and if u got it flaunt it. A few years ago I could never get out of the house in shorts because I always thought I was too skinny, and I always worried about what other people thought, but I've grown out of all that crap, I'm very comfortable with my body now and I couldn't care less about what anyone else thinks. At the end of the day it is my body and if I dont love it then nobody else will and I mean its not about them anyway, it's all about me:))

MA GEEZ KEEP IT FRESH ALLDAY ERRDAY...

My friends definitely got the swagg source drippin hot in PMB... and of course haters gon hate as always but we cant stop and we wont stop... Street style is what we all about mchana, love it, live it or leave it!!! keep rocking it ladies..

THOBY KEEPING IT G...

I love Thoby's style..She knows how to keep it classy, sexy and playful..I love how she gets creative with her clothes. U wont believe how she made that american crop top...I was soo amazed when she told me she made it with bandanas. In outfit #2 she bought a dress from MRP and cut it into a crop top and high waist skirt which is too dope for words. Her all white errthang outfit is a true definition of CLASS!!! Keep it up my friend:))

TRADITIONAL ME!!!

I made this outfit for my cousins 18th birthday party, the theme was tradition since it was in September which is famously known as the heritage month in Mzansi. I wanted to go with something different instead of the cliche Xhosa traditional attire.. Shweshwe is something that woman in the Villages always wear when attending ceremonies, so I just made my outfit more fashionable as always:))

DURBAN BUSINESS FAIR 2013

DAY 1:

THE DURBAN BUSINESS FAIR took place at THE DURBAN EXHIBITION CENTER from Friday the 20th of September till Sunday the 22nd. I wore this outfit on Friday, everyone I met that day literally thought I was a fashion designer, when I told them I study CLOTHING MANAGEMENT they weren't surprised at all. I  guess my outfit did all the talking!! There were all kinds of people exhibiting all kinds of businesses, which was very interesting to see. I went with my cousin, CHUMA and we had so much fun that we just had to go back again on Saturday.

I bought these camouflage pants from the Jay jays mens section#hides.. haha I have a huge thing on mens wear lately, especially shirts. I just had to get those pants cause I dont really like the ones they have for ladies, blue top from Legit, shoes from Rage and the leather snap from Legit..

DAY 2:

On Saturday we were at it again, this time around we went with my other cuz Sinazo and our friend Nomfundo... There was also a lil fashion show on collections from the DBF.. We went from the fashion show to champagne and food tasting from different local and international chefs doing their thing and MZOKOLO from Gagasi FM was the MC it was nice meeting him in person I must say he's a really cool brother.

DAY 3:

On Sunday we had so much fun OMG...Khuli Chana and Khaya Mthethwa  performed, DjCndo was on the decks at the closing concert... And guess what??!!.. Khuli said he likes my camouflage shirt which I stole from my brothers closet, the shirt originally had long sleeves, but because I like playing around with clothes I decided to cut the sleeves off since it is now summer of course.

DAVID TLALE...#DFF

Who else but none other than the king of South African fashion himself, David Tlale...His mens collection was just on another level. I loved how he used tye dyeing in some of his suits, really cool!! I also like how he played around with the elements of black and white, the combination of street style and class.. There is nothing sexier than a man in a suit and no man on earth can ever go wrong with a mens satchel, thats real class right there!!!

DONT TELL ME WHAT TO WEAR!!!!

ME, ME AND ME:)... This is an outfit that really caught people's eyes, literally everyone I walked past on Campus that day was staring at me. But then again Harry Winston once said "PEOPLE WILL STARE. MAKE IT WORTH THEIR WHILE"... I dont even care about what they thought cause I mean this is me, its who I am. I wont now start dressing in a certain manner cause I'm worried about what the society has to say!! I just wish everyone would care less about other people's opinions and just be free to be who they want to be. Remember, style is a way of saying who u are without saying a word. Let your outfit do the talking!

DURBAN FASHION FAIR 2013-GERT JOHAN COETZEE

Talk about class, elegance and art. Gert's collection was definitely a show stopper. From the all white beautiful garments, to the classic all black everything and the mixture of Monochrome. The use of feathers, mash knits and the gold  and silver detials. AMAZING!!! I loved each and very garment, but my favourite has to be the last dress with the monochrome bodice and feather skirt. I dont blame Bonang for her love of Gerts designs, the guy is really talented!

THE DURBAN FASHION FAIR SHOW took place at THE DURBAN EXHIBITION CENTER from AUGUST 22nd- AUGUST 25th. I attended it on Saturday AUGUST 24th with my cousin Chuma and my friend QURAISHA. The whos who of the fashion industry were there, from magazine editors to the fans and lovers of fashion like myself of course. Cameras were flashing everywhere. It was really an amazing experience!!
